Today in school we celebrated the forthcoming nuptials of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle. Children were invited to come to school dressed as guests at the royal wedding. We started the day in style with our Royal Family themed ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ 14 children and Miss Dyson worked together with the audience to win the school a million pounds (!!!) Myself and Mrs Cowling thought our millions would be best spent on a picnic for all our children. At lunchtime the whole school sat out on the school field and enjoyed a delicious picnic in the sun which we all enjoyed. During learning time each class have had a member of the Royal Family assigned to them to find out about, during our whole school candle time children from each class family shared their learning. Thank you to all the parents who supported their child with their learning at home, we had some amazing creations including a fantastic family tree from one of our Year 1 learners.
