Nepal

We have a very special partnership with the John Dewey School in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Since 2011 we have worked closely with Miss Upashna and the school she works in. Teachers from both schools have taken part in reciprocal visits. Since beginning our work together Miss Hargrave, Mrs Edwards, Miss Burgess and Miss Gallagher have all had the unique opportunity to visit and teach at John Dewey School, Nepal.

Miss Upashna, Miss Mita and Miss Pallavi have also had the opportunity to work alongside our learners in school delivering collective worship and lessons.

Throughout the year the school completes a number of global activities together including ‘A view from our window’ and ‘Cars in a traffic jam.’ the schools also worked together recently raising funds for the Nepal earthquake appeal where the school and church raised £895.21 for Christian Aid.
