Yesterday evening we welcome families in from the cold to share our first curriculum showcase evening with us.  Our children battled the blizzard in their pyjamas to learn more about our curriculum in school.  Each classroom was transformed into a curriculum subject led by the subject leader.  There were lots of games and activities for children and their grown-ups to take part in as well as a quiz trail where children had

Today our Year 2 school choir were invited to sing at the Mayor of Normanton’s annual school’s Joint carol concert. The celebrations took place at Normanton All Saints Church.  Normanton Common School and St John the Baptist School joined us to sing together and to each perform a song of our own.  All the children did a fantastic job, and our choir sang their song ‘I will rejoice’ with passion and enthusiasm. 

Today we had over 120 children and their families join us for our annual Christmas Craft event.  Miss Gallagher did a superb job of organising the event making sure we had everything we needed.  Families had an excellent time making tree decorations, starry wreaths, Christmas cards and fir cone Christmas trees.  All the children had the opportunity to take home what they had made and we asked for a small donation for
