Midday Supervisor inclusive of SEND
Monday- Friday 11.45am – 1.15pm
Grade: G2 (Supervisory Assistants)
We are looking to appoint a temporary lunchtime supervisor to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, at lunchtime Monday – Friday 11.45am – 1.15pm.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and flexible and who would be willing to support pupils when eating and on the playground/accessing outside spaces. We want someone who will engage in play alongside young children and think creatively about fun activities to support engagement and behaviour at lunchtimes. They will need to support the lunchtime period, supporting children in a positive and encouraging way to show good table manners, develop skills for life and try different food choices as well as engaging
pupils in play. They will need to be a good team player and a good communicator to work effectively in our team of lunchtime supervisors & take on board advice from our SENDCO & Senior Leadership Team. They will need to support school policies and systems to ensure lunchtime is a positive, safe and enjoyable time for all who attend.
