Miss Beal’s class family led our remembrance service for our school family this morning. The Resilient Rhinos told us all about World War I and II. They also shared poems, prayers and artwork. Following the service, Year 2 pupils visited Normanton Cenotaph to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers of Normanton during WWI and WWII. We held our remembrance service laying our handmade wreaths, listening to readings and poems and observing a 2 minutes silence. The children as always were fantastic ambassadors for our school and behaved with respect throughout the service. We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and enjoy remembrance Sunday.
